We are pleased to announce the release of the book "Living with Tropical Forests" written by researchers from the Forests and Societies research unit of CIRAD
"Living with Tropical Forests" (available in French) is a book for the public focused on the relationship between humans and forests in the tropics.
It was written by researchers from the Forests and Societies research unit of CIRAD, who decided to focus on the relationship between humans and forests because they felt it was essential to make the public aware of the fact that forests and humans are co-dependent, linked by a community of destinies, and that it is only by taking these interdependencies into account that we can hope to save the joint future of humans and forests.
This book is richly illustrated with over 270 photos (most of them taken by researchers) which show the beauty of tropical forests and their inhabitants.
It will be available in bookstores on June 3rd. You can order it here.
