Eight representatives of professional associations, respectively four representatives of international industrial companies and four representatives of SMEs and artisans from Africa, will participate in the ATIBT Forum in Nantes.
Their participation is organized by ATIBT thanks to the AFD-funded project "Support for the development of a continuous training offer in the forestry and wood sector in Central Africa" (ADEFAC).
This participation of representatives of forest managers, primary processing industries and SMEs of secondary and tertiary wood processing is a real opportunity to increase the visibility of the forest-wood sector in Central Africa on the international scene during the ATIBT Forum and during the three days of the Carrefour International du Bois in Nantes.
It is also an opportunity to promote products and companies from Cameroon, Congo, Gabon and the DRC. At the COMIFAC stand, representatives will be able to discuss the issues that will be addressed with the authorities of the various countries of the Congo Basin.
During the ATIBT Forum and during the round tables on our ATIBT stand at the CIB, this presence will allow to participate in the debates on the current events concerning the wood sector and to talk about the realities of the field.
Especially for the guests of the ADEFAC project, an excursion will be organized in the region of Nantes to visit partners of the Campus Grand Ouest. These visits will allow to see how the professional training system for the wood sector is organized in France and to stimulate reflections on the role of the private sector in a training system.
