CBFP celebrates its 20th anniversary and holds its 19th Meeting of the Parties (MoP 19) from 5 to 8 July 2022, in Libreville, Gabon. The ATIBT will lead the private sector college, and will organize a side-event on the Dynafac project.
This 19th meeting of PFBC 19th meeting of the parties of the CBFP aims to continue the implementation of the "Declaration of Commitment of the COMIFAC Member States for the Forests of Central Africa - A Call for Fair Financing" and the "Joint Statement of the Congo Basin Donors of COP26: A "Fair Deal" towards Sustainable Development for the Congo Basin, their People, Forests and Biodiversity".

The ATIBT is the organiser of the private sector stream 1B on the theme "Conditions and perspectives for a sustainable wood economy" which will be held on 5 and 6 July (download the stream 1B programme).
As such, Jacqueline Lardit-Van de Pol, Françoise Van de Ven and Benoit Jobbé Duval will be present in Libreville to lead the private sector and participate in side-events.
On 7 July, the ATIBT is also organising a side event entitled "From M'Baiki to Bambidie, 40 years of research on forest dynamics in the Congo Basin", in collaboration with its partners in the Dynafor project, the FFEM and of course COMIFAC.
This meeting will be a form of synthesis of the project's results, and will aim to exchange with political decision-makers on the future of management plans.
Finally, the ATIBT will also participate in the round table on an inclusive partnership with the European Union to combat deforestation and promote sustainable development in the Congo Basin, organised by Fern, as well as in the round table organised by the FAO.
