The primary aim of this software is to reduce the annual number of kilometers of runway opening, and thereby reduce its impact on operating costs and the environment.
The ATIBT is pleased to inform its readers that the Programme de Promotion de l'Exploitation Certifiée des Forêts (PPECF) has received substantial co-financing from KfW to develop the ASSALA software. With contributions from forestry companies ASI, BH, BSG-GWI, GAW, ROUGIER, SEEF Cameroun, GRUMCAM and CSR support from Danish trader GLOBALTIMBER, the software has now been written.
As indicated at the start of this article, the aim of this software is first and foremost to reduce the number of kilometers opened each year, thereby reducing the impact on operating costs and the environment.
ATIBT organized a webinar for an initial exchange with members.
