ONFI is a subsidiary of the French National Forestry Office (ONF), created to promote French forestry «know-how» overseas.
ONFI has been providing expertise, technical assistance and training for over 20 years in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia.
ONFI’s expertise covers a wide range of areas: natural forest management, plantations (forestry and agroforestry), climate change and REDD+, mapping and remote sensing, management of natural hazards, protected areas/ecotourism, integrated landscape management and biomass energy.
ONFI works with scientific and technical partners, donors, private clients, governments, NGOs and the ONF, its parent company.
