Framiré is an exotic species native to Africa. It is a yellow wood, very light to light, very soft to tender, very versatile: it is used for interior joinery, exterior joinery, flooring and plywood, among others.

Framiré is a tree of the tropical forests of West Africa, easily recognizable by its branches that are organized in a crown around the young trunk. With a very fast growth rate, framiré develops a more or less straight trunk. It can be confused when it is young with limba (fraké), although its leaves are less wide than limba.
The tropical species framiré is used in carpentry and interior design for the manufacture of parquet floors, interior stairs, doors and frames. It is also used in exterior joinery.

Framiré is an African tree whose distribution area is essentially in the West African region, where the tree is very widespread and covers a vast area of its tropical forests.
