DAAD scholarships for the Master of Science in Tropical Forestry at TU Dresden, Germany

Over many decades, the international orientation and socio-economic focus have made this 2-year MSc course unique in Europe. You will benefit from the international background of their research & lecturing scientists who supervise your field research in the tropics. Besides socio-economic and general aspects of tropical forestry, the course also includes specific topics of climate change related carbon forestry, agroforestry and land use change. Some of the best Master Students are offered to enter into their large PhD program. Presently, over 300 graduates from TUD courses are working in tropical countries and international organizations, many of them in top positions.

Another plus: As public university TUD exempts students from tuition fees!
