Started in March 2019, the National Forest and Wildlife Inventory, scheduled to last two years, aims to update data on forest and wildlife resources in Ivory Coast, allowing the Governement to employ relevant tools to ensure optimal management of its resources. It is important to recall that the implementation of this important project benefits from the financial support of the French Development Agency (AFD) through the C2D “Debt Reduction and Development Contract” programme.
A Steering Committee (COPIL), composed of 12 Statutory Members, assisted by the C2D Technical Secretariat (ST/C2D) and the French agency of development (AFD) as main observers, ensures the regular monitoring of the project in order to find solutions to any difficulties that could hinder the achievement of the project’s objectives.
