Within the scope of the FLEGT REDD Certification projects, financed by the FFEM, the European Union and the KFW through PPECF, 4 status reports on the private forest sector were produced. These studies draw up the state of play of the private sector actors of the forest wood sector in the Congo Basin countries targeted by the projects.
The study was carried out by ROSCEVAC experts in three provinces of Gabon, namely the Estuary, Ogooué-Lolo and Ogooué-Maritime. The three provinces constitute an important production, employment and infrastructure basin.
